Summer Fun For Preschoolers
Now is the time when families start planning for the summer and we are now able to share confirmed details regarding our Summer Fun Preschool Camp 2023.
In order to be compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians Act (AODA) and enable Mooredale to become accessible, we will be undergoing mandatory renovations scheduled to begin July 2023. The renovations scheduled to last approximately a year will have an impact on both the Main House and Coach House. All facilities must be AODA compliant by 2025, and all City of Toronto facilities will be undergoing AODA renovations. We therefore have made the difficult decision to place our Preschool Camp on pause for the Summer of 2023, as we believe the construction will have a direct impact on our ability to operate our Summer Fun program in our usual fashion.
Thankfully though, our Mooredale Day Camp for children 3.10 to 12 years will continue to operate. Registration begins online Monday, January 16 at 10:00am. For more information, please contact our Day Camp director, Alyse Reichardt areichardt@mooredale.on.ca
Mooredale’s Summer Fun for Preschoolers is an exciting program for children between the ages of 2.6 and 3.11 years as of the first day of camp. Full days are available in single and multiple week options. A nutritious hot lunch along with morning and afternoon snacks are included.
Don’t miss the opportunity for your child to experience our sunny summer days filled with crafts, cooperative games, sensory experiences, water play, creative movement and music, and all taking place in our spacious Mooredale playground and comfortably cool Coach House!
Our full day children are offered nap time, rest time or books, and for those children who no longer nap we offer quiet games and activities. When our summer fun campers are once again awake, rested and ready to go a whole new range of activities and games await.
This may also be the first time in a summer program so how about registering a friend as well? We would be sure to place them together in the same small group.
