Junior RDP

The Junior Rep Development Program is an extra weekly technical session available to our younger players looking to prepare and transition into our Rep Development Program. The sessions are more technical in nature and are led by coaches who are experienced at working within this developmental matrix.

The JR RDP Program is offered to U5/U6/U7 youth that are looking to develop their soccer skills in a more structured environment and bridge the gap between traditional House League Soccer and next level Rep Training.

Practice sessions are planned so that they involve a Warm-up, a Physical an introduction to the Technique, a progression of the Technique Game Related, and a Scrimmage Game. The sessions will focus on the development of technique in ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting and introduction to defending / attacking skills. Most of the exercises at this stage will focus on the 1v1 and 2v2 model (FUNDAMENTALS).

The Progression of Player Development part of our Jr. RDP is concentrated on:

  • Ball Mastery: The Foundation-Touch, Control, Confidence
  • 1v1 Moves: Individual Skill to keep possession, Dribbling, change of direction, Feints, Stops and starts
  • Receiving & Passing: Teamwork and skills
  • Speed: Mental and Physical: Speed with & without the ball- Acceleration, Reaction, and Decision Making
  • Finishing: Focus, Timing, Courage, Concentration, Striking
  • Group Play: Putting ALL together-Group Defence, Fast break Attack, Combination Play

The Practice Objectives of Player Development within the JR RDP emphasize:

  • TECHNICAL (50%): Introduce basic individual techniques
  • PHYSICAL (30%): Develop agility, balance, coordination with or without the ball
  • SOCIAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL (20%): Create positive learning environment – Increase confidence with the ball –Playing with the teammates
  • TACTICAL (0%): NO tactical objectives at this stage.

Training Location/Dates/Times

As we move towards our Fall and Winter Season, we look forward to continuing with our sports activities indoors. We will be training at Monarch Park Stadium on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6-7pm. The Schedule indicating dates, times and locations will be updated on TeamSnap. For further details please log into your TeamSnap account.

  • No Soccer on the Following Dates:
    • December 21-January 8 (Winter Holiday Break)
    • March 11th-March 15th (March Break)

Program Fees

The Early Bird Special Price is currently $850.00 for the season. Prices will increase to $1000.00 beginning October 24th. The pricing includes:

  • Player development curriculum 
  • Player coach fee
  • Player assessment
  • Uniform Kit
    • New Registrations: There is an additional $100 payment that is for a new uniform kit
      • New players will be issued uniform kits on size availability
      • Full JR RDP kit includes: 2 jerseys (home/away), 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks,
    backpack
    • Returning 2023 Outdoor Players: There is no payment required if you have an existing kit 

Commitment Level

There are no consequences for missed sessions. We recognize that there will be absences due to vacations and other commitments however there will be no fee adjustment for any missed time.

Proceed to checkout and process payment.

If you have a pre-existing credit on your account, make sure to click “YES” on the payment page when it asks if you would like to apply the credit. All fees are processed via our registration system. Accepted forms of payment are VISA, MasterCard, debit, cash (in office only).

Mooredale Membership

A Membership at Mooredale is mandatory for all players prior to participating in our sports programs, per our organization’s policy. The fee is $125 annually for a family membership. This membership gets all family members access to our other sports programs (we offer 6 other sports!) as well as the pool club, and a host of other programs. Refund Policy & Mooredale SC Policy

Please note, there will be NO refunds once you have been registered into the program (Unless we are provided with a copy of a medical note which prevents your child from participating in all sport activities). Weather related cancellations are NOT reimbursed.
