Social Media Internship

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Technical Director and Club Soccer and Sports Manager
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing several social media accounts while ensuring brand
  • consistency and voice
  • Staying engaged with followers on social media, including responding to all relevant messages
  • and comments on all platforms
  • Grow the Club’s social media platforms by sourcing, curating, editing, and posting engaging
  • content
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar for all sports, hockey, basketball, lacrosse,
  • flag football, soccer.
  • Participate in the creation of all social content marketing plans to increase both the volume of
  • followers through social media channels as well as the engagement level of such followers (Facebook,
  • Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
  • Film and edit quick consumption videos optimized for social media. Must be comfortable appearing in and hosting videos as needed

Qualifications:

*You are highly proficient with the latest version of Instagram, and Twitter, Adobe Creative Cloud

*Experience with TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube, communications, or marketing

*You have excellent planning, organization, and time management skills

* Self-motivated, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Position Title: Social Media internship

Reports To: Technical Director/ Club Soccer and Sports Manager

Competitive Coaches: BOYS AND GIRLS

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Technical Director
  • Communicate with Sports and Soccer Manager
  • Create Seasonal Plan for development of players based on the 4-corner approach
  • Ability to design, lead and implement training sessions based on the Age Group Curriculum
  • Create session plans
  • Communicate with Age Group Players/Parents throughout the year
  • Provide a written evaluation to each player
  • Support all Club Programs and Initiatives
  • Act as Member of the club’s Technical Staff
  • Attend all Club Educational Events: Classroom and Field
  • Attend all meetings with TD
  • Understanding of the LTPD and how it affects player development planning
  • Strong interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to relate to young players
  • Ability to work evening and weekends
  • Seasonal Lacrosse and Learn to Skate Program

Position Title: Competitive Development Program
Position Term: Part-time, on-going Seasonal
Lacrosse: Spring & Fall
Learn to Skate and Ice Hockey: Winter
Salary Range: Salary based on experience and certification
Reports To: Technical Director and Sports and Soccer Manager
