The Mooredale Soccer Club is a registered not-for profit youth soccer club operating in Toronto since 1949. The Club operates year-round with its outdoor/indoor program. The Club is currently seeking multiple Age Group Head Coaches who will be working alongside the club’s Technical Director and the developing and overseeing the implementation of the Club’s LTPD Program, maximize the experience for players, assistant coaches, and members of the Club.

Competitive Coaches: BOYS AND GIRLS

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Technical Director
  • Communicate with Sports and Soccer Manager
  • Create Seasonal Plan for development of players based on the 4-corner approach
  • Ability to design, lead and implement training sessions based on the Age Group Curriculum
  • Create session plans
  • Communicate with Age Group Players/Parents throughout the year
  • Provide a written evaluation to each player
  • Support all Club Programs and Initiatives
  • Act as Member of the club’s Technical Staff
  • Attend all Club Educational Events: Classroom and Field
  • Attend all meetings with TD
  • Understanding of the LTPD and how it affects player development planning
  • Strong interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to relate to young players
  • Ability to work evening and weekends
  • Seasonal Lacrosse and Learn to Skate Program

Position Title: Competitive Development Program
Position Term: Part-time, on-going Seasonal
Lacrosse: Spring & Fall
Learn to Skate and Ice Hockey: Winter
Salary Range: Salary based on experience and certification
Reports To: Technical Director and Sports and Soccer Manager

  • Minimum OSA Provincial ‘C’ Licence or international equivalent (preferred Provincial B)
  • Understanding the OSA LTPD and how it affects player development planning
  • Strong interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to relate to young players
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

Position Term: Part-time on-going

House League Director

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Technical Director.
  • Always provide excellent customer service
  • Greet individuals entering organization
  • Follow up to customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner
  • Communicate with Age Group Players/Parents throughout the year.
  • Problem solves to help customers resolve issues on first call, appropriately communicating with upset customers to resolve their inquiries
  • Promote players from the House League to the competitive program
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Assisting the Customer with the correct programs for them and their families
  • Convene the Recreational program
  • Distribute and inventory of uniforms/supplies
  • Maintain updated Forms
  • In conjunction with the club Technical Director and Sports Manager, solicit, recruit, train and manage all House League coaching staff. Coach Volunteers for the Summer.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Lead the player rating process, team/roster balancing, data entry in Power Up Sports, etc.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • In coordination with administration, account and track for all training and technical equipment

Qualifications:

  • First Aid & CPR
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with members, the public, staff, etc
  • General Managerial skills including but not limited to: administration, organization, leadership, timely verbal and written communication, decision making, resource management and basic computer proficiency
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • May and June
  • September and October

Remuneration: Hourly
