Yes, however Mooredale will allow only a like for like teammate request. If requested at the time of registration, Mooredale will make every effort to accommodate placement on a team with ONE other registered player. Only one request will be accepted and will be considered only if both players request each other.
Such a teammate request must be made in writing, in an email to the sports manager (firstname.lastname@example.org), and will not be accepted over the phone.
Requests may not be granted for competitive players playing in the house-league.
After the rostering and scheduling processes are completed by Mooredale staff, an email will be sent out with instructions on how to find out your child's team assignment. The team assignments are available on your PowerUp Sports account (our online registration portal).
The aim of Mooredale's house-league program is to provide all players with a positive experience in the sport, a chance to develop their skills, and most importantly, a chance to to have some fun! Our technical staff coaches do their best to involve everyone, and ensure all players develop their skills - regardless of their prior experience of current skill level. Studies have shown that participating in team sports can give kids a chance to build confidence, develop friendships and build camaraderie, and teach respect and good sportsmanship.
