How to get here:
By car:
Schematic map with directions (pdf), coming from:
- west of the Don Valley Expressway.
- the Don Valley Expressway.
- east of the Don Valley Expressway.
- Take Cherry St. South past Polson Pier (formerly The Docks).
- Turn left onto Unwin Ave (before Cherry Beach).
- Turn right onto Regatta Road.
- Just after the bike path, turn left.
- Look for Mooredale Sailing Club on the right.
Bike Path:
Accessible from both Leslie St and Cherry Street on the bike path.
From the East:
- Turn south onto Leslie St off of the path along Lakeshore (the path is located along the east side of Leslie St).
- Turn right onto Unwin Ave.
- Just past the pedestrian bridge, turn left to get back onto the bike path.
- Here the path runs just north of the waterfront and will take you to Regatta Rd.
- Turn left onto Regatta Rd and then make another quick left.
- Look for Mooredale Sailing Club on the right.
From the West:
- Turn south onto Cherry St off of the path along Lakeshore (the path is located along the east side of Cherry St).
- Continue past Polson Pier (formerly The Docks) to Cherry Beach.
- Follow the path to the left along the waterfront to Regatta Road.
- Turn right onto Regatta Road, then make a quick left.
- Look for Mooredale Sailing Club on the right.
By TTC:
On weekdays, TTC service is available via Bus Route 72A to Cherry Street at Commissioners; northbound from Union Station or southbound from Pape Station (Refer to link for schedule-insert link http://www3.ttc.ca/Routes/72/Northbound.jsp)
From Cherry St at Commissioners:
- Walk south past Polson Pier (formerly The Docks)to Cherry Beach.
- Follow the path to the left along the waterfront to Regatta Road.
- Turn right onto Regatta Road, then make a quick left.
- Look for Mooredale Sailing Club on the right.
On weekends and late evenings from Mid-May to Labour Day, TTC service is available via Bus Route 172 to Cherry Beach; eastbound from Union Station (Refer to link for schedule-insert link http://www3.ttc.ca/Routes/172/Eastbound.jsp)
From Cherry Beach:
- Walk east along the bike path.
- Turn right onto Regatta Rd, then make a quick left.
- Look for Mooredale Sailing Club on the right.

Mooredale Sailing Club is unique amongst its neighboring clubs through it’s affiliation with Rosedale – Moore Park Association (RMPA). Mooredale House (under RMPA) assists in the administration of Mooredale Sailing Club and provides us a secondary clubhouse for various club venues throughout the season. Also being part of RMPA provides access to other community and recreational activities and services. Mooredale Sailing Club is located on the water's edge between the Leslie Street Spit and Cherry Beach, south of Lakeshore and seconds off of the bike path. Just minutes from downtown and with free parking our waterfront clubhouse is a cottage in the city.
