The Canadian Albacore Championships are held in September. If a member wishes to take a club boat to a regatta that is outside the Toronto Harbour area, permission must be obtained in advance from the Executive. Permission will only be granted for the events, which are sanctioned by the boat’s class association.
Eligible boats may enter by completing registration with the regatta registration committee and presenting a valid measurement certificate to the committee in accordance with the NOR. Boats, sails or other equipment are subject to measurement at the discretion of the organizing authority.
The helm of all boats shall be a full or associate member in good standing of a national Albacore association. The championship shall be conducted with the competitors divided into two fleets: a President's Fleet (for more experienced racers); and a Challenger Fleet (for less experienced racers).
