Our Friday night race series represents the largest fleet of single class ongoing racing in North America.
Don’t let this intimidate you. Racing in the Toronto Harbour provides challenge to both the seasoned and most novice sailor. The Albacore is a two man dingy that ensures each sailor becomes an integral part of the race outcome, with powerful adjustable sail controls allowing both light and heavy crews to race head to head.
Our racing team is involved from social racing to the highest level of Albacore competition. The team regularly participates in national and international events. In recent years Mooredale sailors have gone to win National and International events, including the Canadian Albacore Championship and US Nationals.
Mooredale’s racing program provides the tools and environment for a novice sailor to turn into a Canadian champion. Come challenge yourself!
