2) Prep and Paint Tool Shed

3) Cut Grass

4) Trim Shrubs & Entrance Area

Some of you may recently of noticed a shiny new red toy (vacuum) in the change room. Feel free to play with it anytime while taking it for a stroll across the change room floor!

It’s user friendly but because it’s bagless… there is a filter within the dirt catcher that needs to be cleaned every time you empty it.

Should one need, the instruction manual is in the bottom draw of the filing cabinet in the sail shed.

Enjoy!!

Lastly, a Big Thanks to Mary & Maureen for organizing and along with their team for pulling off the 1st annual Mooredudlian Olympic Wind Games!!

It was a smashingly great & wet time by all. Cognates to Team Green – WSC for

Taking the GOLD Medal in this inaugural event.

Cheers to all ya scallywags on Team Green - WSC!!

Ante D, Sergey K, Brenda G, Christine K and yours truly…

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Mooredudlian Olympic Wind Games
UltimateJetSailing_olympicF

This Sunday, Augustus XXIII, in the year of the lord MMIX the world will witness the inaugaral holding of  ....

The MOOREDUDLIAN Olympic Wind Games

Each White Sail class of MMIX will form a separate team to compete against the other classes to determine which class will take the most medals and be able to claim the title " Mooredudlian Olympic Wind Wizards".

White Sailors of former years - commonly referred to as ‘returning members’ - are invited to attend to form one or more "White Sail of Years Past " teams to compete for a second title “Mooredudlian Blow Hards” (Members with extensive or high level racing experience may be handicapped or barred from the sailing component – depending on the whim of the Olympic committee!)

The winning Wind Wizard team will take on the ‘most honest’ team of the Blow Hards for a grand finale!

May the best team win!

Events will include

1.  Wind Whispering
All entrants will sail a timed race - Boats will start at II minute intervals - sail from the dock, rounding the '0 Mark' (just behind rat spit) then the 'IX Mark' (off the weather station) and then back to the dock.  The crew and helm will change places and another timed run will be made.  Playoffs will narrow the field down to the top boat from each class.  A final four boat race along the same course will determine gold, silver and bronze winners!  Ability to whistle up wind is essential!

2.  Bocce Mania
Each class will divide into teams of III or IV players.  Each team will compete against teams from the other classes.  Winning teams will go into a play-off schedule to determine medal winners!  Precision and good balance helps!  Don't forget to factor in wind shifts!

3.  Water Torture Relay
Each class will compete to see who can transfer a gallon of water, spoonful by spoonful to another vessel set XX feet away.  Sure and steady tortoise or hasty hare - who will triumph?

4.  Balloon Bonanza
Which team will be able to blow up the most balloons in the allotted time. Who will be crowned the windiest team??

And much much more!!!  The fun begins at I pm!

Following the games - A fabulous banquet and MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT await the noble (and exhausted) participants.

Tired, replete with good food and good cheer, the noble Olympians will retire to their native villages and dream of their return and revenge in future competition.

Every Mooredudlian should attend this event!

As always, volunteers are needed to help run the games, keep scores and to organize the meals!

If you plan to attend please e-mail Mary at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so that the teams can be lined up!

Cheers to all Olympians!  And good luck with your pre-game training regimes!

Please note - the event was rescheduled from Saturday, Augustus XXII so that the public could be enlightened by the presence of his majesty King Paul III, Lord Amyniable and Sir Glennsalot!
