games-wednesday

Time:
be at the club house by 6pm for a short briefing at 6:00. The game starts 7pm at the dock.
Game rules:
Two persons per boat: one experienced sailor and one 2010 sailor (with or without WS). Sailing rules (mark rounding, when boats cross) apply. More about sailing rules...
The winner:
the boat which crew member crosses the finish line first. The starting and finishing line will be on shore between the dock and the club house.
Start:
boats ready to sail at the dock, one of the crew on board. The other crew stands behind a fence, sorry I mean a line, and can cross the line as soon as he is the first person to answer one of the 10 questions. Yes, this is a "QUIZ START", soon to be recognized by the Olympic commitee!
Course:
boats will have to leave the dock and sail directly to the first mark, and follow the course decided during the briefing.
Finish:
the boat will then sail back to the dock, any "wrekless sailing" will be sanction by an automatic "dish washing chore". The boat is considered finished when one of the crew member crosses the finish line (on shore).
Betting:
social sailors and guests are welcome to bet on their favorite team. The better with the closest forcast will win one of great gifts !!!
Questions:
Contact the organizers, John and Fred at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

The festivities will be followed by a delicious supper prepared with love by Derek and friends at 8:30
