Rides, Games, and Fun!
Step right up… the folks at World’s Finest Shows have promised us their best carnival rides ever! The Midway will have tons of great games! All your favourites will be back – the Alligator Kiddie Striker, Feed the Monkey, and Hockey Slapshot. Plus, two big new games – the All-Star Quarterback Toss, and Face the Chefs … can you get the sushi into the Chef’s mouth?

Mayfair Bingo will be back again on the main field and each game will feature special prizes!

The Track and Field competition offers a wide range of races and prizes for ages 1 to 13. It’s only a morning event, so plan ahead if you have a junior athlete at home. (Pro tip: the little kids’ races are super fun and heartwarming to watch!)

Kiddie Zone
Parents with younger kids will want to check out the fabulous Kiddie Zone inside the rink! It's perfect for the 3 to 9-year-old crowd! Come try the huge bouncies!  The tiniest kids can try their luck (and win a guaranteed prize) at our historic favourite, the Fish Pond. We’ll also have the Wacky Hair and Face Painting tents and Gaga Ball hosted by the Mooredale Day Camp staff.

The Mayfair Silent Auction will be in the rink again on Saturday, the perfect place to find treasures for Mom, great deals on re-gifting items, and some very special donations.

Food Court:  All that fun works up an appetite – so pace yourself, with tasty barbecued burgers and hot dogs, candy floss, fries, the Steam Whistle Beer Garden (also serving Union Wines), scrumptious home baking, and Starbucks coffee.

And don’t miss the musical action on the Main Stage this year. We’ll have amazing bands performing on Friday and Saturday: including Governor Douglas and Old Man Flanagan’s Ghost.

Ride-all-day Bracelets
You can save big with Mayfair Ride Bracelets! For only $40, your child can ride all day on all the mechanical rides from World’s Finest Shows. (Includes unlimited rides on Friday evening too!) Bracelet vouchers are available by advance sale for two weeks only, from April 24th to May 10th. They can be purchased at Summerhill Market, or at the Mooredale office.

Free Bike Valet Parking
The whole family can bike to Mayfair! The Bike Valet Parking enclosure is located at the southeast corner of the park (at Scholfield Avenue). The service is free, and you can check strollers, too.

Mayfair Home Baking
Would you like to join our network of street captains for the Mayfair Bake Booth? Delicious home baking is a Mayfair tradition! If you’d like to bake, or can help with the collecting, please contact us at the volunteer hotline below.

Have you volunteered your two hours yet?
Think about it. Mayfair is your community fair. Everyone’s there… kids from all the schools, families from all the streets. With all the hundreds of neighbours who are flipping burgers, selling tickets, staffing the games tents, baking and bingo, shouldn’t you be part of it too? It’s a lot of fun, and a nice way to give back a little. It’s also a great way for teens to earn community service hours. Call our volunteer hotline, 416-922-3714, ext. 310.
Or email us at volunteer@mooredale.on.ca before May 10th.

Mayfair Parade
Kids, this is your big chance to dress up as anything you can think up that has a Canada Birthday theme. It all adds to the fun! The costume judges will be watching as the parades arrives from Moorevale Park. Look for the parade route and starting time in the big Mayfair insert, included with the next issue of Mooredale News.
