What is Long Term Player Development (LTPD) or Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)?

Long Term Player Development has been mandated by our governing body, the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) in order to benefit all levels of the game in Canada and specifically Ontario.

This goes from our Under 4's through Adult Soccer.  There are various levels of certification that we as a club will be providing those interested, parents, coaches, players, referees, managers, etc.  It is truly exciting.

Some of these changes will be uncomfortable, we understand that and we hope with education from us you will be LTPD Champions for our club going forward.

We have made changes slowly over the past couple years with smaller groups at the younger age groups and going forward we will be implementing much of the Developmental and Recreational Matrices the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) and CSA have put forward to us.

This means reduced roster sizes for all levels of the games at the u12 level and down, along with no scores or standings, increased emphasis on learning how to play the game with proper coaching, training for our volunteer coaches and so much more.  You will see this in all of our programs going forward, not just soccer.
